Purchasing a horse can be a difficult process and we're here to help you make the right decision.
Here are a few tips to save you possible injury and heartbreak:

Haste makes waste.  Take your time to shop around.  It's easy to fall in love with
the prettiest horse. It's not easy to correct bad habits this "pretty" horse may have.

Show up earlier than your scheduled appointment time to see the horse.  You
WANT to see how they catch the horse in the pasture, how the horse stands for
grooming and saddling and watch it all very carefully.  Remember, what you see is
what you get!

Have the owner ride the horse before you do.  Observe the horses behavior and
how the owner handles the horse.

Have a vet check the horse prior to purchase.  A veterinarian can better
determine the horses true age.  They can also test for possible lameness which
could cause problems for you in the future.  Your vet can also give you an overall
evaluation of the horse and his general physical condition.
We are currently offering a Registered Quarter Horse Mare for sale.  You can check out her
pedigree at www.allbreedpedigree.com.  Her papered named is "Miss Chilled Out".  She is
currently being used as a lesson horse.  She is calm and not spooky.  No bad habits.  She
loads easily, stands for the farrier, loves a bath and is very kind and gentle.  She would be a
great mount for a new horse owner or beginner.  She was born in 1997.  She is Incentive
Funded and would be a great all around horse.  She is selling for $1700 or would consider a
trade for a nice driving horse.
